Hello to my readers... however few of you there may be!
Not a whole lot has been happening at the Yackerz abode. I worked a bunch last week... it was pretty uneventful. Thursday I had my Akron U orientation and got my classes (Psych and Sociology) scheduled. One of the girls that I kind of got to know over the course of the day is in one of my classes! So that's good.
Saturday I worked a 9 hour shift, which was LONG, but not super eventful. Lots of cleaning.
Sunday was Father's Day. We did music at church. Got Subway for lunch... Played Bananagrams and Wits and Wagers. Walked up and down the street, since it was supposed to rain/storm. And we watched Inception. Which is a GREAT movie. I think that we need to buy it. Kaite had to work, though, which stank. But we had a good time.
Monday... yesterday... uhhh... I slept in. Ate lunch (yes, I got up that late). Went swimming, took a shower, cleaned. Ate dinner. Went to Tarbucks/the plaza with Kaytee and just chilled. We walked up and down our street for about an hour. It was awesome. I love her a whole lot. :)
Today I got up and ate breakfast... did a few things for BK, went swimming, took a shower, ate lunch, and now I'm blogging!
The rest of the day will be something along the lines of this: Finish this blog, clean up my room, read Emma, hang out with my family, annnnnd yeah! We're celebrating Father's Day for realz (aka dinner/dessert) tonight since Kaite had to work on Sunday.
Tomorrow Claire is coming! CRAZY! So exciting, though.
In case you didn't know, Claire is Kaite's host sister from France (aka Katie stayed with their family while she was in France)
So I guess I'll get started on that list of things I need to/want to do!
Thanks for reading, even though I'm terrible at keeping this up!
Laters!

Random Thoughts
It's been a long time since I last posted!
Like, a week or two.
That's not okay.
I feel like not a lot has been happening, though. I finished school... I'm working some... not a lot this week, but some. I babysat yesterday for 4 kids. Well, 2 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon.
I want to go swimming today... at some point. Because it's really hot outside. Like, our air conditioning is on. Hah.
I think I might eat lunch, read for a bit, and then go swimming. Sounds like a plan to me!
Tomorrow... I babysit and work from 5-close. Friday I babysit all day. Saturday I work from 3 or 4-9.
So yeah... not a whole lot is going on... I'll try to update more often!

Five Minute Friday - On Forgetting
Every Friday I try to take five minutes out of my day/evening and write. For five minutes flat. And then I link up over at The Gypsy Mama with all the other "Five-Minute-Friday-ers"
This week's topic is On Forgetting.
GO.
Forgetting is so easy to do. Remembering is the hard thing. I can forget what I did yesterday, and I frequently do. But why is it so easy to forget the important things that happen? The things that God has done for me? How he has changed me. Why is it so easy to forget?
Those are the things that should be remembered. Those are the life changing, forever impacting moments. Those should be remembered.
Just today I was talking to my Mom about LT (Leadership Training) this summer. We talk so much about logistics that it's easy to forget to think about and anticipate what GOD is going to do for a week. It has nothing to do with me. I need to remember to anticipate what God will do in my life and in the lives of those around me; what he will do in the lives of the people that he so dearly loves and gave his only son for.
Why is it easy to forget that I am in this world to share Him with others? At work especially. It's so easy to get caught up in... working. I forget to make sure that I'm serving cheerfully and have a positive attitude and am not being rude or snarky. I feel like I still need to apologize to one of the managers for the tone of voice that I used at one point tonight. She probably doesn't remember, but I do. She probably didn't even notice. Should I forget? What are the things you should forget? Is it okay to forget things like that? I guess I'll ask God and if she's working tomorrow maybe I'll say something. But she probably forgot.
Why is it easy to forget? When is it okay to forget? Those are my questions.
STOP.
Whew. That was a great topic!
I'm going to go to bed now. Goodnight!

Weekend Update
Hai.
Just so y'all know, one of my summer goals is to blog every day. I'm not going to beat myself up if I don't, but it's on my list for every day.
This weekend was BUSY. But it was super fun!
I posted on Friday, right? Yeah. I did. Okay.
Saturday. Got up and moseyed around. Got ready for work. Worked from 11-3. Came home and ate. Meme&Pops were here. We sat around outside and talked and caught up. It was super fun!
We got Chiptole for dinner, which was delicious. After dinner we went for a walk. When we got home we played Wits&Wagers which is a SUPER fun game! :) We also watched an episode of Chuck (Chuck vs Agent X) which was AAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZIIIINGGGGGGGGG. Chuck is just SO GOOD. I'm so sad that this next season is the last one :( But I'll live.
Sunday we did music at church, which went well. After church we came home for about 5 minutes (probably a little bit longer) and then went to Canton for a bridal shower! It was fun :) After the bridal shower I was home long enough to grab a bagel and keys and then went to the very end of the Youth Leadership meeting that was going on... which turned into PROM planning committee meeting! :)
We prayed a little bit and then hung out and chatted and ate and whatnot. They played this fantastically funny game where we came up with different scenarios and people had to come up with break-up lines in like, 15 seconds. QUITE funny.
Brandon talked about warning signs in a relationship. It was really good. (We're doing the Summer Lovin' series at The620.) To see the videos (from past weeks and eventually this week!) go to http://vimeo.com/live620!
After youth group, I dropped Kaylala off at her house and came home. Meme and I watched the Billboard music awards a bit and then Katie, Hannah, Mom & Dad got home from their walk. We sat around and they ate their Frosties. Eventually we went to bed. And that was my day!
From 8:30am-8:30pm I was home for less than 15 minutes. Just a fun fact. Hah.
Today has been... normal?
Got up, ate breakfast, Meme&Pops left, I read some of my history, took a shower, caught up on blogs, ate lunch, watched a bit of The Sound of Music, read over my physics stuff that I'm taking a test on, and now I'm blogging. I should really go over the test w/ Mom... sooo,
Adios for now!

Hola
Hey!
Time to update from Wednesday before work to now.
Wait. Laundry is calling....
Done! :)
Sooooo Wednesday... Went to work. Worked. Was fairly uneventful. Had to do some e-learning for barista and the new celebration that's coming out soon :)
I made my first cafe mocha by myself. Closed by myself-ish. Had some help, which was good. I really need to learn how to take the bagel slicer apart and put it back together. That would be good. It seems like Allen is the only person who knows how to take it apart/put it back together.
Came home. Ate a little bit. Took a shower. Went to bed.
Thursday morning James came over for breakfast. He was here when I got up. Kaite was making pancakes. Whitney was still here. So we had a little party at breakfast :) The pancakes were good except for the fact that Kaite forgot to put the salt in. Oops. I was eating one of the first ones and was like, this doesn't taste quite right. I went through like "did you put only wheat flour in these," "did you put sugar in these," and that was really about it. But we put peanut butter and syrup and sometimes powdered sugar on them. DElishus.
I did some school... or tried to. James was doing some KaRen stuff, Kaite was doing her class online, Hannah was... helping James and... doing I don't know what else, Whitney was watching videos or something. We ended up watching part of the That Choir Thang Variety Show from 2005. Crazy stuff. Katie and I also ran up to the plaza about job scheduling stuff.
James left before lunch because he was having lunch with his dad. We ate lunch kinda late... I don't remember what I did after lunch. Hm. Oh well! haha
Dinner was quiche, delicious! After dinner we went for a walk and then had a surprise Mother's Day since Hannah got home on Mother's Day weekend. Katie made a cake and we had ordered some books that Mom had wanted. For fun we played Wits and Wagers which was really fun! And then we watched an episode of Chuck-Chuck vs the Family Volkoff. I think tonight we're going to do pretty much the same thing! I know the next Chuck (and maybe the next one after that!) is going to be watched tonight.
After all that it was time for bed. I sat in bed and read a few chapters of the next installment of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Goooood books.
This morning I got up and ate breakfast. After brekkers I mowed the yard. Took a shower. Caught up on blogs. Ate lunch and watched Glee. Did some schooool. Talked to Kayt about prom pictures tomorrow. Did some more school. Drank an Icee and talked with the girls. Played the piano some. Did some laundry. Now I'm blogging and waiting for laundry to be done. Yay!
Dinner tonight is Bubble Pizza! I'm excited because we haven't had Bubble Pizza in a LONG time.
Today is also FRIDAY which means Five Minute Friday! So look for that later :)
Until my Five Minutes are up,

Just another Manic Wednesday... Wait, that's not right.
Hello!
I've been kinda slacking on the blogging front. It's something I'm hoping to do more of over the summer. It's on my daily to-do list.
Life has been good.
Monday I didn't have BoW... because school is pretty much over! But I had a dentist appointment and went to the library, bank, and grocery store with Mom.
When we got home I had lunch and watched The Biggest Loser from a couple of weeks ago. I babysat in the afternoon... which was fairly uneventful. After that I ate dinner with the fam minus dad (because he golfs on Monday nights) and then headed off to dance! "Dance on a Monday?", you say? Yes. Dance on a Monday. It was a makeup class for one of the crazy snowdays that we've had.
I came home and... relaxed for a bit? I don't remember. Took a shower, went to bed. You know the drill.
Tuesday morning... got up... did school... Watched Make It Or Break It.
Thennnnn *drum roll please* we had a girls tea thingy! Yeah, I should have a better name for it, but I don't. But we had coffee and cookies and chocolate covered stuff. Annnnnd yes. We talked about life and whatnot. Annnnd.... after that... I don't remember what I did, honestly. But we ate dinner and then headed out to the Falls. Mom&Dad had a meeting, Katie was meeting with a couple of friends, and I had dance. On a Tuesday. Like normal. Came home, took a shower, went to bed.
Wednesday! Aka today.
Got up, ate a little bit, did a couple days worth of physics, and a couple days worth of history. Ate lunch. One of Katie and Hannah's friends, Whitney, is over for the day... she got here during lunch-time, and we talked and whatnot, ate, watched this video of Katie reading something... that was really funny... to her. It was actually quite hilarious. She was laughing until she was crying. Good stuff.
Then we went on an up-and-down-the-street walk because it looked like it was going to rain. And it did indeed rain.
Hannah and Whitney (who will be referred to from here on out as "The Crazies") went out in the rain. I went on the porch and took pictures of them. They're crazy.
Annd now they're talking. Annnnnnd I have to work soon. So. I shall be done for now.
But I hope this was a fairly good, comprehensive update!

Hmmm...
Today was a good day.
I got up, ate breakfast, got ready for work, and went to work.
Work was CRAZY. It was so so so busy! It was the first Saturday morning/afternoon I've ever worked. I did work last Saturday in the late afternoon/evening.
But yes, it was crazy busy. I feel like I used up all of my words for the day in the 5 hours that I worked. It was actually kinda fun. There was definitely a lot of talking and voiding involved.
If you come to Panera, I'll try to get your order the first time. Just be patient. Gimme a little bit of time :)
After work, I came home and ate my jalapeño cheddar bagel and drank my Dr. Pepper.
Ermmmm........ yeah.
The Karen girls were over... we played Apples to Apples for a while.
They went home around 5:30...
We had grilled cheese for dinner, and now we're watching Chuck (third episode of the night!), and I had half of my pecan roll that I got today. So yes. It has been a gooood day.
Tomorrow is church and youth group and some more Chuck probably...
I'll try to keep up the blogging!

A Ridiculous Tuesday Update
Hai.
I'm tired, oh so tired, today.
Yesterday was... interesting.
I got up and got ready. I was running a leetle beet later than I wanted to be.
I was planning on going to McDonald's at 9 am for their hiring day. I was also planning on checking back at Panera before I went to McD's. It was about 9:15 by the time I left the house. I was all dressed in my interview clothing, ready to interview at McDonald's. I went into Panera and asked to talk to the hiring manager, who I knew was working yesterday because I checked to see when he was working on Monday. I asked him if he had had time to look at my application. He asked what my name was, I told him, and he was kinda like "oh..." and told me to wait a minute. He came back and we sat down in the restaurant area and he asked me a few questions (if I was related to Hannah, what I did when I worked for Mr. H, if I had a car, where I'd want to work, etc). He told me that he had like, 5 other interviews that day, but he'd "probably hire [me]," but he had to interview the other people. His last interview was at 3:15, so he'd call me after that.
I went to the car and called Mom&Kaite and told them what he said. They said to come home and we'd wait for his call and if it was negative, I could still go to McDonald's and get an interview there.
SO. I came home and Katie and I got started on dipping stuff in chocolate. There is way tooo much stuff to list. If you're seriously interested, I'll make Katie do a "guest post" about the chocolate. :)
I went to lunch with BK @ Chipotle, which was delicious. We shot a video after lunch which involved multiple places and me in a body bag. I will post the link to the video once it's done :) It was fun. Despite the fact that I had to get in and out of a body bag about 7 times. In multiple public places. It'll be a good video. (You'll never see me, but you'll know that I'm there. Ha!)
After all that, we dipped more chocolate... I was on facebook for a while.
And then the phone rang.
The caller ID didn't say that it was Panera, but I answered it. It was indeed Panera.
B, the manager, never straight up said "you got the job," but he asked if I could come to orientation and Planet Bread (their training program) on Saturday. UH YEAHHH.
SO that was exciting!
I called Dad and told him... and then Meme and told her... and then Hannah and told her. Hannah definitely had the best reaction! She screamed and (by her description) ran across the street in glee and jumped in a puddle for good measure! So funny!
But we'll be co-workers this summer. And it'll be suuuuper awesome. :)
After all that shtuff.... I got ready for dance. Ate dinner (leftover Chipotle). Went to Urban Vision for ballet from 5:30-7, and then jazz and modern. I came home and crashed. I was exhausted.
And all of that activity yesterday made me suuuper tired today.
This lovely, crazy, hopefully-well-written post sums up my crazy getting-hired-getting-shot-in-a-body-bag-with-a-camera Tuesday.
Adios my readers!

This should probably have a title, huh?
Hey!
Hannah told me that I have to keep blogging until she's done with school.
SO I continue to blog.
Saturday was... fairly boring. I read a whole lot. I went to Panera with BK for a bit to go over Easter stuff. Then we went to the AIRPORT and picked up KATIE! Then we came home and ate dinner and generally relaxed. We also ate cupcakes.
Sunday morning I got up and got ready. Kayla's family picked me up and we went to church. Sunday school was good. And then church. Yes. That was good too.
When we got home we ate lunch (birthday lunch) and I opened presents and we played BananaGrams, which I had just opened. Then it was time for Hannah to go back to Kent and me to go to The620 stuff.
I headed to Green Valley for Easter Sunday practice. Played guitar for a bit while waiting for people to get there. Sam and I traded songs (haha) and then we practiced. And then I headed to Kayla's house and they gave me a ride to youth group. Youth group was good. We planned a few things and got through our study.
I got home and then called BK to let him know how many more people were coming to Space Pirates vs Na'vi. He said they were still at the church, so I headed over there again and helped them shoot a video for God.Bar. Came home... relaxed a bit. Went to bed.
Got up this morning. Ate breakfast. Got ready for the day. Went a bunch of places with Kaite checking back at places jobs wise and picking up applications. We came home, ate lunch, filled out applications.
I babysat... annnnnd yes. We ate dinner, cleaned up, and went on a walk.
Now we're finishing watching You Again, which is a brilliantly funny, well cast, movie!
And then bed. And then McDonalds tomorrow morning bright and early for their hiring day. And then checking back at Panera. Woooooooo. Yay job hunting!
A'ight. I'm out for the night.

A Birthday Party
Hey-o! Yesterday was my birthday. It was a faabulous day!
I got up and did school... Opened my card from Meme&Pops... talked to Meme&Pops! Did school and more school. Mom went to the grocery store and then came home and we unloaded stuff and then we went to Tarje and got Icees for lunch (along with leftover quiche!). We had quiche and icees for lunch and watched part of Despicable Me. And thenn I worked on my paper a bit. And then I decorated cupcakes! Here are a few pictures of them:
Then people arrived! Sean, Allie, Carrie, Nathan (and Jeff), and Adam came. It was a fun time!
We played Apples To Apples for a while, ate dinner, went to the basement and watched some YouTube videos (haha) and then played Spoons. And then we ate those cupcakes. They were gooooood.
After dessert we went downstairs again and played fooseball and more Apples to Apples. And then people left. It was a funtabulous time overall! Those people are funny. I like them. We should get together more often!
And that was the gist of my day! It was quite fun. And now I'm going to go finish working on my paper.
Hope you're having a lovely Saturday!

Another catch-up!
A'ight, so you want to hear how life's been? It's comin'!
Friday, which I didn't really post about, was good. Did school, packed, babysat.
Saturday can be found in full here.
Sunday I got up and went to music practice. Did the usual Sunday-church-gig.
We went to a newer family's house for lunch, which was fun. We had pizza and generally just chilled and talked. It was quite fun!
We came home and I basically dumped my stuff/rearranged my stuff and headed out again for Nazirite DNA, Prayer&Worship hour, and youth group at The620.
After The620, we had a meeting about Easter Sunday (Sunrise service, baby! I'm probably going to shoot myself for agreeing to help with that... it means I have to be up at like, 6:15 on a Sunday morning...) and whatnot and then we cleaned up and Erin and I threatened to drink Brandon's iced tea... b'cuz we're cool like that. (And apparently Brandon can steal a girl's heart by using the word "privy" in conversation! Erin and I had a talk about that Wednesday... 'tis about to be hilarious up in here. (WOW. I'm white.))
Anywhoo.
Came home... Sunday night... finished writing my paper (rough draft) that was due on Monday and headed to bed.
Monday: Got up, went to school, did homework/whatever in study hall, ate delicious Matzo-Lasagna, had classes, came home, babysat, ate dinner, watched Chuck, went to bed.
Tuesday: Got up, discovered that Mom was sick :( I did school, went to Urban Vision (I drove, however Dad was in the car with me.) I taught ballet... and felt very inadequate as a teacher. Lauren took me to my dance classes. Danced for 2 hours. Came home. Got stuff together for Mom for Wednesday. Went to bed.
Wednesday I got up and went to Spanish and then came home with Adam&Sean. Went to the library, but realized half-way there that I didn't have Mom's library card. The lady at the library was slightly... ticked off at me for not having a card. (She had to look at my drivers license to get my last name and I had to confirm Mom's first name, yada yada yada.) I got an application for a library card.
After all that good stuff I came home and ate lunch. Then did some schooool. (Mom didn't teach because Mrs. J told her not to. :) Annnnnd I had bible study. That was goood. Dinner is always fun... I usually sit around Erin, Sam, Sarah, and Sam's family. Here's something y'all need to know: Sam hates the word "moist" and naturally, I work it into conversation as much as possible. Last night at dinner we were talking about words that bother us, and of course, Sam doesn't like "moist." Someone else doesn't like the word "glisten" and so on and so forth. I mentioned, mentioned, that I don't like it when people say "aks" instead of "ask" and so OF COURSE Sam starts "aksing" me a bunch of questions. I told him I was about to AX him. But it's all in good fun. Sort of ;)
Another random Wednesday night thing is that Erin will turn styrofoam cups inside out. She got Sam started on this and he basically turns every cup inside out plus some. Last night we had paper cups. I said something along the lines of "it's a bummer you can't turn your cup inside out" and he was like "challenge accepted." He turned his cup inside out, ripped it. Got a second up, successfully turned it inside out. I told him he should drink something out of it. So he did. I had already gotten up and gone to the room where we have our bible study, so he came and stood right outside the door and just took a drink from his cup. I busted up laughing and his dad, who was sitting next to me, got concerned. It was very funny.
(And it might have been a "you just had to be there" moment... we'll see.)
Bible study itself was really good! I love the people in my group. They're awesome.
After that I came home and watched American Idol and Breaking In and went to bed.
Today I got up, did school, ate lunch, did more school, babysat, ate dinner, went for a walk, showered, and watched American Idol and The Office. The Office was hilarious tonight! Will Ferrel and Steve Carell shouldn't be allowed to be on a show together. It's too funny.
Tomorrow is my birthday. 17. Nothing too exciting happens at 17. I can drive more than one non-family-member in my car? Yay? haha.
I don't have to babysit tomorrow, which was S's birthday present to me! haha (she still paid me. I like her!)
So. I shall now post this and go to bed. It's been a long recap, so it seems! It's not too bad looking over it again ;)
I'm looking forward to tomorrow and Saturday! (You should really do yourself a favor and go listen to this, this, and this! Amazing cello stuff!)
That's all for me!
G'night!

A Life Update
Hey!
I'm really horrible at posting these days now that I'm not doing NIPTO! Sorry about that...
I last posted about the concert on Friday.
Saturday I got up and ate breakfast and then went to Green Valley for Youth Leadership with Brandon and Erin... and that was everyone who was there. But we got a lot planned and then Erin and I straightened Brandon's hair. It looked gooood. But he got it wet and it got curly again. :(
That afternoon I came home and ate lunch with Mom, Dad, and Meme. Meme left and Mom and I talked to Kaite over Skype for about an hour, and went through her closet to figure out what to throw out before she left France.
In the evening Mom&Dad's small group came over and Kayla, Alexis and I babysat. It was fun to hang out with them and watch the kiddos.
After everyone left I'm pretty sure I went to bed. haha
Sunday morning... got up and got ready, went to church and sat through band practice, ended up singing with Jeremiah's group, and then went to Sunday School and whatnot.
Sunday afternoon... I think we went for a walk... I think I did some homework... and then I went to Nazirite DNA, half of the Prayer&Worship time and then Kayla and I headed back to my house to pick Dad up (haha) and then we went to youth group. It was fun! Dad talked about why he believes what he believes and we played Ninja.
Came home, went to bed, the usual deal.
Monday: Got up, got ready for school, went to school, did school in study hall, ate lunch, had lit class and SAT class. Came home, babysat. Nothing too unusual about Monday... ate dinner, watched a re-run of Chuck. Watched an episode of Monk, went to bed.
Tuesday: Got up, did school, went to Urban Vision (gym, reading, gym, computer lab (math), dinner, reading, homework), had a too-short ballet class (we have very few classes left and they still don't really know their dance. *cue freaking out...*), went to my dance classes. Our creepy doll dance is going to be SO good. And I have a solo-bit! Exciting.
Came home, ate a little bit, went to bed.
Wednesday: Got up and my back hurt. I think I pulled a muscle the night before at dance from doing a pas de chat... drove to Spanish because Sean&Adam have had some transportation issues. Came home after Spanish and did school... played some music, worked on my paper a bit. Mom got home and then I babysat (which is not a usual Wednesday thing). I made him do half of his math homework (which is what he's supposed to do) and he was kinda mad at me. haha. But he got to play outside after, so that was good.
I came home and then had to leave about 5 minutes after for bible study. Before I left I realized that I left my phone @ N's house, so I ran back to his house and grabbed it and then headed to bible study.
We had spaghetti, bread, salad, and fruit for dinner... and some moist cake for dessert and cherry cobbler. Yum.
Our discussion was interesting. I didn't participate a whole lot. But it was interesting.
Came home. Watched the end of American Idol. Watched a new show called Breaking In that was decent. Annnnd then went to bed.
Today I got up and did school. And watched an interesting 30-minute film about child sex trafficking that was called The Candy Shop. It was very thought provoking. You can find it here.
I worked on my paper some more. I hope this gets done soon. Because TOMORROW I'm going to Kent with my Karen sisters ;) for Lil Sibs Weekend with Hannah! :)
I'm excited for that.
I babysat today and it seemed like it should be Friday because I babysat yesterday too, however, it's Thursday.
After babysitting I came home and ate dinner with the fam, and then Mom left for her bible study and Dad and I watched The Biggest Loser and American Idol.
So nowwww. I'm here.
And tomorrow is another day.
And I need to go to bed.
But I hope this was informative.
Kaite's traveling tomorrow! Crazy.
Okay. I'm going to read her blog from today and then go to bed.
G'night, y'all!

Concert-going!
So, last time I blogged was Friday afternoon. After I blogged Meme came! It was so much fun to just sit around and talk for a while!
We ate dinner (quiche) and then Dad and I left for the concert!
We drove around Akron for a bit trying to find a place to park, eventually found a place, and walked about a block to Musica.
We stood in line for about... 25 minutes? Yeah. I think so. Erin came soon after we got there and joined us in line. We talked about the differences between iPhones and Droids. (Erin has an iPhone, Dad has a Droid)
Dad eventually walked through the line and asked around to see if anyone had an extra ticket. He found one! Some girl's sister canceled on her because she felt like she was coming down with strep. So Brandon got Strep-Girl's ticket. Haha.
We got in and stood around. For a long time. Dad and Erin talked for a long time. We looked at merch. I thought about getting a shirt, but they didn't have it in the size I wanted :( I wasn't going to spend $20 on a shirt that didn't fit. Maybe next time... or MAYBE I'll have Anna get me an Owl City t-shirt when she goes to see him this summer...
Anyways. Yes. We stood around. We saw a couple people that we knew, talked to some of them. The show was supposed to start at 8... it didn't start until 8:30ish. Brandon got there about 8:25. HAH. He's such a boy.
It was a FANTASTIC show! Arum Rae from White Dress was AMAZING. Her guitar skillz were awesome and she could whistle very well! haha.
Here are a few pictures from the night so far:
Around 9:15 The Civil Wars started playing. They are simply amazing. They have great harmonization and tone-matching. I love them. And Joy Williams is so stinkin' cute! She&John Paul White are so amazing together. Here are my [good] pictures that I took! (A couple of them are screen shots from videos that I liked :)
So yes. That was my night. Dad and I came home and I went to bed. I'll upload some videos sometime maybe?
We'll see. Maybe if you beg. HA.
That's it for tonight.
Adios!

I'm deleting my blog.
Haaaaaaaa. April Fools! I'm definitely not deleting my blog. (And if you play White Rabbit, Red Chicken.)
The past couple days have been... boring?
Wednesday I chatted with Katie a bit. It snowed a ton. I drove to and from Bible Study successfully and didn't get into an accident (it wasn't icy... just wet&snowy).
Bible study was really good. We're going through Companions in Christ: The Way of Prayer. This week we looked at Scriptural Prayer. We did Lectio Divina! :) (That brings back fond Sunday School memories from my Freshman(?) year!) We did Lectio Divina during our hour of study and it was fantastic! I think that great things will be happening soon... more on that in another post, hopefully!
After my study I came home and watched American Idol and then went to bed.
Thursday, yesterday, I got up and checked and saw that my SAT scores were ready. *Freak out*
I did okay (and surprisingly scored the highest on math!). I will take it again. I'm going to take the ACT again without writing. (There's your update on my standardized testing!)
D, H&E came over and we babysat them while Jay&Ang took Z to look at pre-schools. He's going into PRESCHOOL? Yeah. Weird.
They were pretty good. D plays well by himself, E is a content, happy baby, and H was pretty upset when J&A left, but D started singing Jesus Loves Me and she quieted right down! So whenever she started crying we would sing to her. Eventually, she fell asleep.
After they left, we ate lunch. I did school. Chatted with Kate for a bit. Had a quiet time. Cleaned my room. Ate dinner. Made brownies (with chocolate chips and walnuts! YUM). Relaxed for a while. Watched American Idol results and Mobbed. Mobbed is a fairly neat show where someone wants to tell someone something, so they get a flash mob together to tell them. On last night's premier episode a guy proposed to his girlfriend, and then they got married. All in the same... hour? Couple of hours? Yeah. Insane. If my boyfriend EVER did that to me I would kill him.
But yes.
I went to bed after that.
Got up this morning. Ate breakfast. Did school. And now it's 1:15 and I haven't eaten lunch yet.
I think that's next on the agenda.
After lunch will be geometry.
Meme might be coming over today through tomorrow! Which would be exciting.
I'm going to THE Civil Wars concert tonight. I am SO excited.
Brandon, the genius that he is, forgot to buy a ticket. And the show is sold out. So, what's going to happen is Brandon is going to buy Dad's ticket from him and he and Erin will be my chaperons for the evening.
Or if there are people selling tickets for exorbitant prices outside of Musica, he might buy one of those and Dad will still go. Either way it will be fun. But more fun if Dad could still go too.
I have a feeling that tomorrow during the Youth Leadership meeting Brandon, Erin, and I will be a leetle beet tired. Just a feeling.
I'll try to take lots of pictures. And I will try to post some of them here if I'm not too exhausted tomorrow!
Au revoir!

Wait, what month is it again?
SO I've been slacking. But now I'll post 2 times in one day.
SINCE the first time I posted today it has snowed an inordinate amount. Like... inches. I believe.
INSANE. It actually snowed that much in about an hour and a half. I just checked weather.com and it says it snowed 1.7 inches. I think it snowed more. But WHAT month is it? Yeah. MARCH.
When I got out of my car at bible study/small group/whatever you want to call it, and Keith threw a snowball at me :( He missed. HA! And then when I left, he threw a snowball at my car. And made it. (A car is much larger target than I am! hah)
Here are a couple of pictures of the crazy snow:
Yeah. Okay. I'm done now.
With this blog AND the snow.
Yuck. When we wake up the snow will be gone and it'll be 60*, right? Right.
SINCE the first time I posted today it has snowed an inordinate amount. Like... inches. I believe.
INSANE. It actually snowed that much in about an hour and a half. I just checked weather.com and it says it snowed 1.7 inches. I think it snowed more. But WHAT month is it? Yeah. MARCH.

TRUTH: I can be a slacker.
My sister kindly posted on my wall (and I read the e-mail that got sent to my, well, e-mail. I'm off Facebook until next Saturday.) and told me that she doesn't know what's going on in my life if I don't blog.
Hence, I'm blogging, and I'm a slacker.
Last time I blogged... was on Friday? But that wasn't even really a complete blog post. That was a Five Minute Friday. So... the last time I blogged was... LAST Monday. Errr. Yeah. I'm a slacker. I started a post, but never finished it.
Here's what I had written so far:
Not much has been happening minus minor heath issues. But even that's not that much.
Monday-Didn't feel good. Had heartburn.
Tuesday-Lightheaded, dizzy, sinus headache, generally not feeling good.
Wednesday- Almost completely better.
That was it so far. We ended up not going to Urban Vision/Ballet because I knew that I couldn't teach/help out at UV much, and Mom wasn't feeling well either. And it was spring break for dance, so I didn't have to worry about that.
Wednesday I was almost completely fine. I went to school and everything. Went to bible study. That was about it for Wednesday I think.
Thursday I did school, babysat (and it feels like I had to fight him to read... but I don't remember. It obviously wasn't that bad!), and went to see Annie Jr. at the High school, put on by the Middle school. Sam and Matt (fellow youth groupies) were in it and it was really fun! I love musicals. There's just something about them that makes me very happy.
Friday I did school, babysat, and then the Rhorigs, Hares, and Horstmans came over. It was SO much fun! We ate dinner and whatnot and then all of us kids went downstairs and played Catchphrase and Wii Bowling. So that was fun. Eventually we all wandered upstairs and sat with the adults. And then people left. :(
Saturday I slept in... annnd... I don't really remember what I did in the morning/afternoon. The Karen girls came over. We hung out and stuff. Played outside some. Did some Sudoku. They went home and we ate dinner and then watched some Monk. And then we went to bed.
Sunday: Got up, went to Sunday School. Kay taught, which was fun! She talked about Crazy Love by Francis Chan, which is currently on hold for me at the library. Aaaaand then it was church time. And so we did that thing. haha. After church there was a chili luncheon. So we ate chili. And talked. And Jeremiah ate all of Nathan's fruit while he was getting something else. It was quite funny.
After church we came home and I finished painting the moon on our Space Pirates (v Navi) flag. We went on a walk. I went to Nazirite DNA. Which we actually didn't read. We ended up praying that entire time. And then we prayed some more. We started a prayer wall. Which I want to add to tonight while I'm at my bible study! Then there was youth group.Which was fun, as always.
We ended up staying until almost 9 (an hour after youth group ends) taking pictures on BK's computer. HILARIOUS. I love those people. Well, at that point it was me, Kayla, Aliza, Sam, Erin, and Brandon. But we eventually left. Haha. Then Dad and I took Kayla home. Annnnd then I typed up my lit questions and watched Undercover Boss and then went to bed.
Monday: Got up, went to school. Did school in study hall. Ate taco salad for lunch. Talked to Christopher and Kaitlyn! They came to visit Julia because they're on spring break this week. So that was fun.
Then Lit class. And SAT. Those were pretty normal.
Came home. And I'm pretty sure I was on the computer the rest of the day? Don't really remember. I think we watched more Monk because Chuck was not on this week. Went to bed.
Tuesday (yesterday!): Got up, got ready, went to Panera with Katie, went to Pet Supplies Plus to get food for Rigby, Katie's snake, and then came home. Did a little school, went back up to Panera to introduce myself to their hiring manager. Came home. Did more school. Watched Make it or Break it during lunch. Yay! Went to Urban Vision (Gym, Reading, Gym, Computer Lab-math, Dinner (pasta), Reading, homework)
I went up to the ballet studio about half an hour before class started to finish choreographing their dance and to prep a little bit. Ballet class was altogether toooooo short. We have 6 (probably 7) classes (if I have one during spring break) left before their performance. *Cue freak out* haha
After ballet I went to dance. We learned more of Black&Gold (Jazz dance) and worked a WHOLE lot on Aha! It's going to be such a good dance. It's a creepy doll dance. And we're creepy all right. It's so good. Haha
After dance I came home and crashed.
Today I got up, got ready, went to Spanish class. Spanish was different today because we worked on our Ejercicios on our own/in groups but without Mrs. Jones. So. That was interesting. And probably a whole lot less productive than if Mrs. Jones had been helping us, but I think it was good for us to do them on our own.
Kind of. When she told us that she wasn't helping, Sean looked at me and was like "Okay, Abby, give us all the answers!" And I told him that they might have to do the exercises "sin migo tambien" haha (without me too).
After Spanish was study hall... where I did almost all of my school. Then Mom came. And took me home for reasons which you will find out in a moment.
I ate lunch/watched an episode of Monk. Finished Physics. Had a bit o' a quiet time. Got dressed in my interview clothing and went to Chipotle. They had open interviews today, so I went! Unfortunately, I did not get a job. You have to be 18 to work there. Which seems slightly dumb, but it's the rules. So I came home and caught up on blogs a bit and now I'm writing this! After this... I might watch a movie or some TV. Chillax, you know.
That's it for me!
Hope you're doing well, whoever you are. And that you got through this post. It seems lengthy. However, I'm not re-reading it. I will run spell-check though! hah
Adios!

Hi
Hey people!
It's been forever since I posted, so it seems.
This weekend was a good one. And I found out what I'm going to do in my spare time this summer. More on that in a moment.
Friday Mom and Dad's small group came over and had their study, so Kayla came and helped me babysit. We managed to get the kiddos to watch UP for most of the movie... we sat behind the couch (if you know our basement, you know that isn't as weird as it sounds) and talked about whatever. Which was fun.
After UP was over we "played" CLUE. Z asked me "How do you play this game?" And I told him that to win you had to go in every room and then up the stairs. haha. So they played that for a bit and then I was a "bad babysitter" and "made" them sit in front of the TV and they watched Bambi. The adults finished up upstairs and so some of us made our way upstairs and ate some dessert. Everyone left after a while and I took a shower and went to bed!
Sunday I got up and got ready for church and whatnot. We had music practice and then church, sunday school, church. Kayla came home with us and we had lunch and then we worked on the flag for Space Pirates vs Na'vi. Speaking of which I should probably update the facebook event/website. BUT. We decorated the flag. And it's EPIC. We outlined a few things, painted the flag ON the flag black, and then we SPLATTER PAINTED IT. And that's what I'm doing in my spare time this summer. It's SO much fun.
So we did that. And then chilled for a bit. Annnnnd then we went to Nazarite DNA and then IMPACT. I came home and Mom, Dad, and I watched the end of The Amazing Race and Undercover Boss. Both interesting shows. I typed up my lit questions while we watched those and then printed them and went to bed.
MONDAY. Got up. Got ready. Didn't eat breakfast (until I was at school) because I didn't feel like it. Went to school. Ate some yogurt and peanut butter crackers. Kept doin' school. Didn't feel great. booooo. So from about 10:30 this morning until... NOW. I've had heartburn. On and off. I'm too young to have heartburn, right? hahha. No. Apparently not. At 11 I move into Mom's class room and then 12-12:30 is lunch... of which I ate... a cheese stick and a yogurt. And they had turkey burgers for lunch. I'm jealous. But I wasn't really feelin' the food. Then we had lit class... We're reading To Kill A Mockingbird. Which is a fantastic book. I'm not sure what I'm going to write my paper on, but I'll figure it out. If you have any suggestions, they'd be appreciated :)
After Lit is SAT... which I sat through with my glasses off and head against the wall, half listening. Occasionally throwing out an answer. Ya know =P
Then we loaded up and headed to the bank to do a few things and I got job applications at the library and DQ. Filled those out for the most part when I got home and then babysat. Babysitting consisted of reading and watching him play basketball/capture the flag with the next door neighbor.
Then I came home. Mom made pancakes and eggs and sausage.
Then I sat around and read Little Women and tried to get comfortable. Eventually I started watching Jeopardy! and Mom looked up on WebMD why my back would hurt in addition to the heartburn. She read that a heating pad on the back might help, so she got me one of those and it's still warm :)
I watched Chuck... which was awesome! As usual. Things are going to be happening on Chuck... good or bad. Not sure. hah.
I feel much better now. So I think I'm going to quit while I'm ahead and go to bed.
Hope this was a good semi-comprehensive update of my life!
As always, if there's anything else you want to know, leave it in the comments! (Katie, DQ&the library were the first paper applications I've filled out so far, the rest were online. But I have applied to Starbucks and Subway. I'm working on Famous Footwear and Regal Cinemas at the moment.)
That's all for now!
G'night....

My week (so far) in review:
Man. I'm tired. I sat down. haha
Here's a quick review of my week:
Sunday afternoon/evening: Nazarite DNA with BK&Erin. Youth Group with Soul Candy (Andrew C) and the crew. Home. Printed homework. Went to bed.
Monday: School. Classes. Who knows what else. Babysat. Came home. Ate dinner. Worked on SAT stuff with Mom&Dad. Watched Letters to Juliet. Which was a FANTASTIC movie. Katie and Hannah for sure need to see it when they come home. It has NYC and Italy in it. Just the locations make it a "must see" =P And the plot is good. Semi-predictable, but good! Then I went to bed.
Tuesday: Got up. Did school. Went to Urban Vision (History, Gym, Dinner, Reading, Homework). Taught ballet. Went to dance. Danced for a longgg time. Came home. Chillaxed a bit. Went to sleep.
Wednesday: Got up. Got ready. Went to school. Spanish class was good. Sat in study hall and did school stuff. Ate lunch. Did school in Mom's class. Packed up. Dropped a movie off at the library and picked up a book. Went to the bank and did all my banking. Went to the grocery store and whatnot. Came home. Relaxed and caught up on blogs. Went to Target with Dad to get a refrigerator thermometer because our fridge is not working right. NOOOOO. Third... time's... the charm? Or three strikes and you're out?
Yeah. Bummer.
Thenn I came home and did some dishes. Read Little Women a little bit. I LOVE that book. It's so awesome.
At 6 I had bible study. Which was fun :) I love my group. They're so sweet. Dinner was delish too. We had meatloaf and mashed potatoes with corn. SO good.
Came home at 7:30 (instead of 8) because today is Ash Wednesday and they had a service. I didn't stay because I was tired and wanted to come home.
So I came home and put my PJs on and read more of Little Women and watched American Idol while reading during the commercials. Then we had pudding (because of the fridge not working... gotta use that milk!) which was delish. I drank a whole lot more milk along with it because it's SO SWEET.
And now I'm watching the end of American Idol and blogging!
It's been a good half a week.
Hope yours has been going well too. Maybe I'll post something other than what I've been up to. Any ideas?
On, pressing on,

A Whirlwind of a weekend
This weekend has been semi crazy.
On Friday night, Kayla-la and I went to The620's Pre-pirate-navi-party. We made our flag, crest, and chant and whatnot. It was super fun :) I like those people. And it was fun to introduce Kayla to those people! And she goes to school with one of the girls, which was kinda fun :) So we did all that and then we watched Starwars Episode 4: A New Hope.
When it was all over, we stayed for... an hour? after it was over and watched YouTube videos.
Do yourself a favor, and go listen to some Boyce Avenue. This video is a good one to start off. I would also recommend "Yellow." AMAZING stuff. Sam OH knows where all the good music's at! :)
We took Kaylala home and then I went to bed.
Got up Saturday morning and took a practice SAT... and did a whole lot worse than the one I took last week.
But I'm blaming it on the fact that I didn't get enough sleep. Or w/e.
Then the Karen girls came over. And we ate lunch and whatnot. They played spoons and a couple of them worked on homework with Mom.
We had cake to celebrate BeBin's birthday :) She's turning 11 on Tuesday. Craziness.
Then Dad and I took them to their respective homes and came home, and half an hour later Mom&Dad's small group came over! The kids (and I) ate dinner and headed down to the basement so the adults could eat and have their biblestudy. We watched Cinderella and the beginning of Mary Poppins.
They were good. It all worked out.
Then I went to bed. Because it was all of 9 o'clock. And I had to take a shower and whatnot.
Got up this morning and went to music practice, practiced, did the first service, went to sunday school, which was awesome btdubs, then finished the first service, went back to sunday school. And then the second service. T'was super good. You should go watch the video. That probably isn't up yet.
But yes.
Then we dropped a meal off at someone's house. And then came home.
I ate lunch and re-converted a couple videos for Brandon.
And now I'm blogging. And will leave in a few minutes for Nazarite DNA and half of the prayer&worship time and then IMPACT.
So. This has been my weekend.
I hope you enjoyed it :)
