NIPTO, Day 274

Hey-oooo

Today's been... a good day. Longish. And a little crazy.
Got up, went to school, got stuff done in Study Hall, moved to Mom's room and did Geometry.Went to lunch. Talked to Adam a bunch. He's funny. We ate lunch. Went to Lit. Went to ACT. Came home. Did history. Babysat. Went to Kayt's for a bit. Came home and ate dinner. Chillaxed and studied for Spanish a little bit. Went to Dairy Queen and got Blizzards for Mom's birthday! Annnnnd now I'm watching Hairspray. John Travolta shouldn't be a fat woman. But it's so stinkin' funny. haah.

Sooooo... yeah.

Ecclesiastes 7:13-18
13 Consider what God has done:
   Who can straighten
   what he has made crooked?

God kinda has the final say. No one can straighten what he has made crooked. It's just kinda how it is.

14 When times are good, be happy;
but when times are bad, consider this:
God has made the one
   as well as the other.
Therefore, no one can discover
   anything about their future.

Be happy when things are good! There's no reason to be sad when things are happy!
But when times are bad, think about the fact that God made the good times and the bad. And... because... of... that... we can't discover anything about the future? *shrugs shoulders* Moving on.

15 In this meaningless life of mine I have seen both of these:
the righteous perishing in their righteousness,
and the wicked living long in their wickedness.

People can die in righteousness just as much as they can die (or live) in wickedness.

16 Do not be overrighteous,
   neither be overwise—
   why destroy yourself?
17 Do not be overwicked,
and do not be a fool—
   why die before your time?

It's possible to be overrighteous. It's also possible to be overwise. It's possible to destroy yourself by being those things. Don't do it. And of course, the converse is possible: to be overwicked and a fool. Why die before your time?

18 It is good to grasp the one
and not let go of the other.
Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes.

I like this: It's good to grasp one and not let go of the other.
To have a grip on both. To understand both, yet to not be at either extreme. Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes.
Interesting interesting interesting...

And now I must away to bed. I've got that school gig tomorrow.
I'll be back tomorrow with more of my lovely life and NIPTO! :)
