NIPTO, Day 292

Hai.

That is in honor of mah friend Anna. She's funny. And says "hai" a lot. :)

Today was fun :)
I got up and ate breakfast and all that.
The Karen girls came over and we hung out and talked for a while... played Phase 10 for a long time. Ate lunch, played Wii some, played more Phase 10, then Mom&Dad took them home and Katie and I played Wii Tennis and Bowling.
Then Mom&Dad got home and we went for a walk... played Set... ate dinner... played more Set and listened to Dad read Voyage of The Dawn Treader.
Then we watched Chuck :)
And now here we are.

I love this video. I've probably shared it before, but it's awesome.

Ruth 3:1-5
1 One day Ruth’s mother-in-law Naomi said to her, “My daughter, I must find a home for you, where you will be well provided for.

Naomi basically told Ruth that she had to get married. But she wanted her to be provided for.

2 Now Boaz, with whose women you have worked, is a relative of ours. Tonight he will be winnowing barley on the threshing floor. 3 Wash, put on perfume, and get dressed in your best clothes. Then go down to the threshing floor, but don’t let him know you are there until he has finished eating and drinking.

Naomi was planning to set up Ruth with Boaz. They were relatives. It was normal for them. Naomi told her to get cleaned up and dressed up and go to the threshing floor, where Boaz would be, and just be there. And to stay there until he was done eating.

4 When he lies down, note the place where he is lying. Then go and uncover his feet and lie down. He will tell you what to do.”
5 “I will do whatever you say,” Ruth answered. 6 So she went down to the threshing floor and did everything her mother-in-law told her to do.

Naomi told her what to do. And Ruth said she would do whatever she said. So she went and did what she said.
Ta-da!

To be continued...

Yup. So now I go to bed. Because that's how I roll. (singing nigh nigh songs and then it's off to bed...)
G'night. :)
