NIPTO, Day 288

Hey all! Today's been busy.
But I'm just chillin' and watching Jeopardy now. With a numb mouth. Half a mouth really. More on that in a second.

Went to school today. Sat in study hall by myself. Listened to Christmas music. Did school stuff. Moved into Mom's room. Talked to Kate for a bit. Did a bunch of Spanish. Ate lunch with people. Went to Lit. Went to ACT Prep. Came home. Went and talked to Kayt for a while. Came home for about 2 seconds. Babysat. RAN home and brushed my teeth and RAN out the door to get to the dentist. Got there a little late (heh. Oops.). Got a shot of Novocain. Sat for a while. Got another shot of Novocain because my lip wasn't numb yet. Sat for a while longer. Got a tooth filled. Came home. Ate dinner (soup&rolls). And then sat and watched "old people TV." hah. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! and then I'll watch CHUCK! :D
My lip is numb. Still. About and hour and a half later. But I think it's starting to wear off. But I still feel like I got punched in the face and it's really swollen. But I can't feel it. Weird. And I can only taste on one side of my tongue. WEIRD.

Alright. I'm done ranting about my mouth. Hah.

NIPTO!
Ruth 2:1-7
1 Now Naomi had a relative on her husband’s side, a man of standing from the clan of Elimelek, whose name was Boaz.
2 And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favor.”
Naomi said to her, “Go ahead, my daughter.”

Naomi had a relative named Boaz who lived near them. Ruth asked Naomi to let her go out to the fields and pick up the grain that was left behind when they harvested the grain. Naomi told her to go.

3 So she went out, entered a field and began to glean behind the harvesters. As it turned out, she was working in a field belonging to Boaz, who was from the clan of Elimelek.
4 Just then Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the harvesters, “The LORD be with you!”
“The LORD bless you!” they answered.

Ruth went out in the fields and began to pick up the grain after the harvesters. Coincidentally, she was working in the field that Boaz owned. Annnnd just then Boaz came home! And he said "HEY! May God be with you!" to his harvesters. And they say "Hey, may God bless you!" back to him.

5 Boaz asked the overseer of his harvesters, “Who does that young woman belong to?”
6 The overseer replied, “She is the Moabite who came back from Moab with Naomi. 7 She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves behind the harvesters.’ She came into the field and has remained here from morning till now, except for a short rest in the shelter.”

Boaz asked the overseer who Ruth was. The overseer told him that she was a Moabite who came back from Moab with Naomi. He told Boaz that she asked to glean and gather among his harvesters. He also told Boaz that she was a hard worker: she worked from morning until then and had only taken a short break.

(That's geeky HTML language for "begin attraction" haha)

And now. I go to bed. Because I need to get up early tomorrow morning so I can get going! And I should blog tomorrow morning/afternoon because tomorrow is going to be CRAZY. Think "do school until 12, go to lunch with BK for about an hour, do more school until 2:30, go to Urban Vision from 3-6, ballet from 6-7, jazz and modern from 7:30-9:30, pick up Katie and maybe Hannah at Kent! SO. Yeah. It'll be craaaazy. But SUPER awesome! :D

So after Chuck, I turned on Dancing With the Stars because that's the only thing that's on, and after DWTS cam Skating With The Stars... annnd Johnny Weir (Weird*) is one of the judges and he's super overdone. Like eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, lipcolor, red mohawk overdone. And now he's skating. And he's dancing to Poker Face by Lady Gaga... and it's frightening. My eyes are burning with all the glitter that he's wearing. But I have to say, he's a fantastic skater. But I'm surprised he doesn't melt the ice.
Okay. I'm done. And I'm going to go to bed now. (Annnnd I can feel my mouth again. YAY! (after 3 hours...))

G'night all!
