*yawn*
We're home!
I'm exhaustifyed. I'm finding people on Facebook and it's super awesome.
To recap today:
We got up... around 5:30 (oops. Supposed to get up at 4. My alarm was set M-F, today is Saturday. Smart, Abby, smart.)
Left around 6 am
Stopped at about... 10:40 for brunch.
Stopped at about... 2:30?? for a bathroom break
Got home at 5!

Chilled for a whileeee annnnd then drove to Subway to get dinner. (With mi padre, of course).
Ate dinner. Went downstairs to see if So You Think You Can Dance had taped. It hadn't.
Watched an episode of Chuck and uploaded LT pictures to facebook!

And now I need to do NIPTO because it's getting later and later and I'm super tired and probably won't be coherent for much longer!

Acts 6:8-15
8Now Stephen, a man full of God's grace and power, did great wonders and miraculous signs among the people. 9Opposition arose, however, from members of the Synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called)—Jews of Cyrene and Alexandria as well as the provinces of Cilicia and Asia. These men began to argue with Stephen, 10but they could not stand up against his wisdom or the Spirit by whom he spoke.

I believe that a "boom shakalaka"/"booyah" is in order. Stephen is an amazing person in the Bible. Stephen did amazing things through God's power. Because of this, people got mad at him and started to argue with him. But, because he had the Spirit, people couldn't defend their arguments. (I feel like Tom Short is a lot like Stephen... except for the fact that he hasn't gotten stoned... yet. =P)

11Then they secretly persuaded some men to say, "We have heard Stephen speak words of blasphemy against Moses and against God."
They got mad at him. So they *persuaded* some people to say that Stephen was blaspheming against Moses&God.

12So they stirred up the people and the elders and the teachers of the law. They seized Stephen and brought him before the Sanhedrin. 13They produced false witnesses, who testified, "This fellow never stops speaking against this holy place and against the law. 14For we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs Moses handed down to us."
Man, these people did not want anyone going against anything they were saying. They didn't like it to such a point that they took Stephen to the Sanhedrin. And they had false witnesses. Craziness.

15All who were sitting in the Sanhedrin looked intently at Stephen, and they saw that his face was like the face of an angel.

Everyone who was sitting in the Sanhedrin was looking at Stephen, right? His face was like an angel's face. Crazy.

Wow. Some amazing stuff in that. Stephen is a bible character that I would love to be more like.
And now, I'm going to leave you with a video from LT.

Night!
