NIPTO, Day 123

Hello blog-reader-people!
Meme&Pops are here. And it's a good thing Mom blogs or else I would forget about stuff ;) Like the fact that we're having a garage sale tomorrow! haha
I mowed today. I mowed a LOT. I mowed for THREE hours. Yes. Three. Count 'em. 1. 2. 3. I mowed the next door neighbor's yard and our yard. Their yard is BIG. ...Okay. Maybe it's not that big, but it's big enough to take 2 hours to mow. hah. I was exhausted. Still am as a matter of fact.
Watching an old episode of Glee. So You Think You Can Dance is on after. I'm excited to see this episode of SYTYCD. It's basically everyone strutting their stuff. Their own styles. It's cool. Last year there were 3 tappers and they did a SWEET tap number. I can't find it on YouTube. Bummer.

Wow. These people are amazing. And slightly hilarious. They have great personalities. AND they can DANCE! Like. FOR REALZ. It's craaaaazy!

Urhg. I'm hungry. It's 10:30. I DON'T WANT TO EAT ANYTHINGGG. But I really do. Ya know?

Alright. Music: HillsongLondon-Hail to The King on RelevantMagazine's website! (You can listen here. Just scroll through until you find HillsongLondon :)
NIPTO: Ephesians 2:1-10

1As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

Dead. To transgressions. Transgressions is a nice big Christian word. To put it simply: We're dead to the bad things we do that make God sad. Make more sense?

3All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.

All of us have sinned. We all want to satisfy ourselves. When we were like that, we were, by nature, objects of wrath. God didn't like us. Buuuut there's a but. Keep reading:

4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

But because God loved us and is a merciful God, he made us alive with CHRIST who was raised from the DEAD... just incase you forgot. We were saved by grace.

6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

We were also raise up with Christ and are seated with him. Woah. We're sitting next to Jesus! Crazy! It's interesting: whenever we receive something, there's generally a reason. A "so that." Or in this case an "in order that" ;)
We're seated with Jesus so God can show his grace and kindness that we've seen in Jesus to others.

8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.

We're saved by grace. And faith. And not faith in ourselves. Faith that is a gift from God. You can't save yourself by works. If you could save yourself by works, why did Jesus have to die? If we could save ourselves by works, we could take the credit. And that just wouldn't do.

10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

We are God's workmanship. He created us. He's proud of who we are. He created us to do good works. He's preparing those works. He has prepared those works.
Fantastic, eh?

IN honor of the World Cup starting today, I'm going to post some kind of soccer video. I have no clue what it's going to be. I'm going to go find it now. =P Alrighty. Top 10 goals of the 2002 World Cup!

Good, innit?

See y'all on the flip side!
